Select a photo object first, and click the 
on the floating toolbar bellow the photo object.
Or double click a photo object to go into crop mode directly.
Grab one of the yellow crop handles to resize photo within cropping area.
Grab and move a photo within its frame to make your image fit well into the frame.
Tips:
However, the yellow handles will be visible even when the image is obscured by another object.
